Her music truly transcends categories of time and place. In her voice, you will hear the colors of a vast variety of influences, ranging from Billie Holliday, to Patsy Cline to Edith Piaf to Bessie Smith. Her music is steeped in many traditional American styles but also is informed by the times we live in today.
