Terry Waldo & Tatiana Eva-Marie Present “I Double Dare You” - PopWrapped
In a time when we’ve all been staying connected through electronic devices, two distinguished artists bring us back to a time when people would gather together in person and create great non-electronic music for fun. Legendary jazz pianist, composer and historian Terry Waldo, and internationally renowned jazz vocalist Tatiana Eva-Marie take us back nearly a century with their new 12-track album of classic 20s and 30s jazz songs, titled ‘I Double Dare You.’ Ahead of the collection dropping on August 16th, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere the video for the album’s title track.
“I Double Dare You” is a 1937 classic jazz song by Terry Shand and Jimmy Eaton. The song depicts a charming flirtatious banter with a love interest who apparently needs a bit of prompting. Since the original release in 1937, the song has been covered by legendary trumpeter and vocalist Louis Armstrong and six-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald.
